On July 26, 2025, the second Zhejiang-Hong Kong Modern Professional Services Cooperation Conference, themed "Integrating New Forces for Development, Uniting Hearts for Modernization," was held in Ningbo. Liang Zhenying, Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), attended and delivered a speech.
Lian Yimin, Chairman of the Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the CPPCC, attended the event and delivered a speech. Ma Lihuai, Vice Minister of the United Front Work Department of the CPC Central Committee and Vice President of the China Overseas Friendship Association; Tang Feifan, Deputy Secretary of the Ningbo Municipal Committee of the CPC and Mayor of Ningbo; and Yau Ying-wah, Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, also delivered speeches. The conference was chaired by Wang Wenxu, Member of the Standing Committee of the Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the CPC and Minister of the United Front Work Department. Lu Shan, Vice Governor of Zhejiang Province, and Chen Long, Chairman of the Ningbo Municipal Committee of the CPPCC, were also in attendance.
Dr. Jonathan Choi Koon-shum, President of the China General Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong, led a delegation of over 20 entrepreneur guests to attend the conference. He delivered a keynote address titled "Leveraging Hong Kong's Strengths, Connecting with Mainland China," facilitating in-depth exchanges on multiple initiatives: enabling Zhejiang enterprises to globalize through Hong Kong's industrial chain export channels, leveraging Hong Kong's status as a branding hub, connecting professional service chains with technology centers, and enhancing port services through the Ningbo-Zhoushan Port complex.
The conference brought together over 500 participants, including leaders from relevant professional institutions, chambers of commerce, trade associations, as well as entrepreneurs and professionals from both Zhejiang and Hong Kong. Auxing Biotech was invited to attend and reached a cooperation consensus with The Hong Kong Polytechnic University on the "Research, Development and Market Promotion of Low-GI High-Amylose Corn Health Products" project.
Zhejiang Aoxing Biotech Co., Ltd. has partnered with the research team of Professor Zhong Yuyue from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University to jointly establish a technology innovation and transformation company in Hong Kong, with plans to invest in the construction of an industrial production facility in mainland China.
The initial phase of the project involves an investment of approximately 3 million RMB, primarily dedicated to the multifaceted application of nanoscale materials. This includes research on the use of cellulose nanocrystals as natural colorants in cosmetics, polydopamine as a special functional food ingredient, and starch-cellulose nanoencapsulation for deodorization purposes.
