Commencement Ceremony - Kick off  of Jiangsu Aoxin Phase II Food Raw Material Project

On July 8, Jiangsu Aoxin Biotechnology Co., Ltd. . held the commencement ceremony for its Phase II project, the "Marine Biological Food-Grade Raw Material Project," in Lianyungang, Jiangsu.

 

Established on December 30, 2004, JJiangsu Aoxin is located at No. 2 Linpu Road, Dapu Industrial Zone, Lianyun District, Lianyungang City, covering an area of 37,000 square meters.

With an initial investment of 65 million RMB, the company boasts over 10,000 square meters of GMP production workshops. It is primarily engaged in the research, development, production, and sales of health foods, beauty skincare products, pharmaceutical and health food raw materials, herbal plant extracts, high-tech biomedical materials, and biopharmaceutical raw materials. The company operates two provincial-level high-tech R&D centers and holds more than ten national invention patents, along with a wide range of proprietary high-tech products. It maintains close collaborations with leading institutions in chitin and marine life science research, such as Wuhan University, Ocean University of China, Zhejiang University, and Jiangsu Marine Resource Development Research Institute. Additionally, the company has established pilot bases and joint laboratories with these institutions.

All raw materials and finished products manufactured by the company are produced in strict compliance with GMP standards and have obtained ISO9001 International Quality Management System Certification as well as HACCP International Food Quality and Safety Certification.

In 2025, the company plans to invest 280 million RMB in the Phase II project (Marine Biological Food-Grade Raw Material Project) based on the existing Phase I facilities. The new project will include production workshops, raw and auxiliary material warehouses, finished product warehouses, and supporting facilities, with a total construction area of approximately 30,000 square meters.

New construction includes a sewage treatment tank with a daily capacity of 2,000 tons and related environmental protection facilities, along with additional equipment such as reaction kettles, filter presses, and condensers.

The annual production output will include:

  • 2,000 tons of food-grade glucosamine hydrochloride

  • 2,000 tons of food-grade refined glucosamine sulfate sodium (potassium) chloride raw materials

  • 2,000 tons of food-grade chitosan (chitin)

  • 300 tons of food-grade chitosan acetate / Hydrochloride

  • 300 tons of food-grade enzymatically produced chitosan oligosaccharide

  • 500 tons of food-grade collagen peptide

  • 35 tons of food-grade chitosan derivative products
